Baka Pygmies-The Republic of Cameroon is sometimes called the miniature of Africa, due to its varied geography and cultures. Cameroon is located in Central and West Africa. To the northwest is Nigeria, to the northeast is Chad, to the east is Central Africa Republic, and to the south are Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and the Republic of Congo. The Atlantic Ocean borders Cameroon to the west. Located in the rainforest of the Republic of Cameroon are the nomadic Baka Pygmies. As hunters and gathers, they exchange goods with the various ethnic groups of the neighboring Bantu farmers and villages.
