"Lyric" horn by Rudolph Wurlitzer. Complete with four slides (F, E, C, & D). Franz Rudolph Wurlitzer emigrated to Cincinnati, from Saxony in 1853. By the 1860's he was a thriving musical instrument dealer and a leading supplier for military bands during the Civil War. In 1865, he opened a Chicago branch.
