Copper and Brass bell trim bugle with "Eagle" Plate.

These bugles were introduced in England around 1810. Many of these bugles were reproduced and used in the US at G.A.R. ("Grand Army of the Republic") reunions after the Civil War had ended. They are often mislabeled as Civil War Bugles but are G.A.R. or post-war bugles.
