Very old Ojibwe Water Drum. "If there are rings of color on water drums they may indicate clan or may come from a personal dream or the order of the colors may indcate a male or female drum. Both men and women have red but only men have blue or black. If the order is reversed, the drum may be for the opposite sex." Jim Dumont - Professor of Native Studies at the University of Sudbury of Laurentian University for 25 years from 1975 to 2000.
