Arthur Sprinz worked under his father, Franz Sprinz in Berlin. According to 'The New Langwell Index': In 1901 Arthur built a 'Bach' trumpet in F for Kosleck; 1906/07 took over the manufacture of screw-adjustable trumpet mouthpiece rims, which had been invented by Hohne; 1921 built for Dehmel his patent contrabass trombone in F; 1937 appointed deputy 'Innungsmeister' (guild master).
