This is a hand carved wooden rattle that is fashioned after a Salmon (fish). It is signed "Ruth Baker - Squamish, B.C. - '89" on one side and "Salmon" on the other side. The salmon appears to be carved from one piece of wood. The carving is detailed and there are small pebbles or seeds inside the rattle.
