A bamboo tube zither with four bamboo peel strings. The lutong was traditionally played by women during ceremonies celebrating a successful headhunting raid. This instrument is found in the Malaysian province of Sarawak on the island of Borneo. Similar instruments can also be found throughout Sabah, Indonesia and the Philippines.
