Bull Roarers date back to the Paleolithic period and were used by numerous early cultures in Europe, Asia, the Indian sub-continent, Africa, the Americas, and Australia. This Bull Roarer comes from northwest New Guinea, particularly the Geelvink Channel region. The Bull Roarer is considered a sacred object of the Northwest Asmut People.
