Clarinet6-Key Asa Hopkins Clarinet in "C"Litchfield, Connecticut Boxwood, Ivory
This 6-Key boxwood with ivory ferrules Clarinet in "C" was made by Asa Hopkins. The brass keys with flat, square key covers have springs attached to the keys mounted in blocks. Hopkin's shop was located along Naugatuck River between 1829 - 1837. Asa partnered with J. M. Camp in 1832 and retired in 1837.
