DrumKorwar Style DrumWaropen Village, East of Geelvink Bay Wood, lizard skin Length: 25.5 inches; Diameter: 6.75 inches Attractive drum with handle decoration of two carved human figures separated by typical Korwar scrollwork. All the carving is original. This drum was clearly made and used for some time before collected in 1954 at the village of Waropen, as there is a nice patina on the handle.
