This rare Conn Constellation trumpet with the "A" or cornet receiver has a trigger mechanism on first valve. Most likely one of the earliest 28A models with the 5 1/8" bell and weighing in at a hefty 2 pounds and 12 ounces. A great jazz classic with a wide open, bright sound. Maynard Ferguson played and recorded using this model.
