This small Innu hand frame drum reveals a four-direction symbol with two contrasting colors, red and green. It is circular in shape with a curved handle and is sewn with sinew. The Innu sometimes relate colors to hunting games. Red and green is often associated with beaver, while blue is associated with bear, yellow with fox, and pink with caribou or lynx.
