Also called mandurria, with a design derived from the cittern and guitar. Small, pear-shaped wooden body, a short neck, and a flat back with 6 paired (12) courses of strings that are hitched to a guitar-like (tension) bridge. The tuning of the strings are in 4ths and there are 12 metal fixed frets. Overhauled by Kerry Char "Luthier Repairs" and in good playing condition
