Stamped: "Rabricant" e. Mezzetti a Paris: NAPOD

While some ocarinas (vessel flutes) date back to 7,000 B.C. China, the European concert ocarina (Italian for 'little goose') was not invented until the 19th century by the Italian Giuseppe Donati (1836-1925). These submarine/sweet potato-shaped clay ocarinas (vessel flutes) were accurately pitched and could be used to play both folk and western art music. This ocarina has 9 Holes front, 3 Holes back, and the metal stopper.
