This Chokwe figural drum is kettle-shaped with ancestors carved on three sides with their mouths open. The resonator chamber is supported by two anthropomorphic figures, each facing opposite directions with hands over their ears and elbows on their knees. Excellent detailed carving from one piece of wood. Shows signs of usage and age.
